When I became a mom I had a total identity crisis. I felt like I had lost myself. Now I've built a life I love while at home with my kids and it's my mission to show moms that they don't have to choose between their dreams and their kids. You really can have both.
The baby was pretty cool tho 👶🏻 I know this wasn’t everyone’s motherhood experience, but it was mine. Double tap if you relate at all 💕 I feel like I completely lost myself in motherhood and it took me years to finally find myself again and adjust to life as a mom. I think it’s a totally normal experience considering having a baby is such a life changer. Hormones are crazy, now you have a little life depending on you, your body just went through potentially one of the biggest a traumas it will go through, your priorities change basically overnight, on top of everything else. I always heard being a mom was hard but it’s just one of those truly life altering things that you really just don’t know until you know. And you know what? If it takes you longer to find your rhythm and love your new normal, I think that’s completely normal and should be expected. When your life changes in an instant , what more do you expect? Now I’m 4 kids in and everything is good. 💕 I just wish someone should have been more open about the not fun experiences and struggles of becoming a mom like this so I didn’t feel like a freak or a failure back then. So now I share to let any mom know she’s not alone and her feelings/experiences are valid. 🫶🏻 and you’re allowed to talk about the hard stuff. #newmomproblems #newmomlife #momproblems #momstruggles #momhumor #becomingamom #ppdawareness #maternalmentalhealth #momsmentalhealth #realmomlife
