Dutailier Ultramotion Multiposition Lock and Reclining Glider reviews?

Does anyone have this Dutailier® Ultramotion Madison Grey Multiposition Lock and Reclining Glider with Nursing Ottoman chair?

I read reviews that it's really good, but quite narrow. I tried Toys R Us and Dear Born Baby yesterday in hopes to try it out, but they didn't carry this particular model on the floor. I know Costco has the best return policy, so that's why I'd be ordering from them, but I'm just not sure if it's going to be too narrow to use it with the breastfeeding pillow.

I have this on my registry! I did read a review that it is really hard to use with a breastfeeding pillow because it's so narrow. Weight limit is also 225. I still think it's worth it.

Update: Just checked my registry and I believe my aunt freaking bought it for me. YASSSSSSS. Will let you know how it is once I get it.

I don't have this one but I have tried it out and I find it quite narrow even without a breastfeeding pillow and I'm not that big (5'6", 140 pre-pregnancy). Will your partner be able to fit in it? That was our other consideration. The fact that you may not be able to use a breastfeeding pillow may not be a deal breaker, since I only used one for the first few months, and you might be able to use a combination of other pillows, or even just the chair arms. We opted for a different dutailier. It hasn't arrived yet but I'm looking forward to it.

I'm only 5' and 120lb pre-pregnancy, so hopefully will never get to the 225lb limit :( My husband is 5'9" and I'm not sure about his weight but he's really skinny. Like, I once almost cried when I tried to put on his tool belt and couldn't fit it around my hips.

Do you know when you are getting the chair? When is the shower? I'll be looking forward to your experience.

I have a Dutalier glider and I love it! Mine doesn't recline but other than that it looks pretty much the same. The lock feature was awesome when I was nursing my son. I honestly can't remember why right now but I really liked being able to set a position and lock it in place sometimes :)

I didn't shop super hard for my rocker but I did try sitting on a few cheap ones at places like Babies r Us and Sears and the Dutalier is in a totally different class from the cheap ones you find in the baby section. The cushions are nice and big and mine are still firm and in great shape over 2 years later. Mine is in my son's room now and we still sit in it every night for bedtime milk and stories.

It's definitely a more expensive option but I had always wanted a glider so I thought of it more as a piece of furniture I was buying for my house than just a baby thing. If you don't see yourself keeping it long term, then you're probably just as well off buying a much cheaper glider. I'm sure they work well, I just wanted the good quality so it would last me 20+ years!

My only complaint about mine is that it squeaks. I've tried to fix it and it's not the wood or the joints, it's the cushions rubbing against the frame when I rock. It's not the end of the world but it does kind of kill the mood when you're trying to snuggle ;) Also, the seat cushion often shifts forward and off the front of the seat so I'm constantly lifting the back cushion and shoving it back under. I could probably solve that by putting a little stitch in the straps that hold the seat cushion on to the frame, I've just never gotten around to it.
